Back in safe hands.
An independent estate agent rated 4.9 out of 5 across more than 1,100 reviews, with a website that had been left to fend for itself.

What we didRescue + care
When we took over, the Lawler & Co website had security problems, a broken menu on desktop, property listings that didn’t keep up and forms that weren’t reaching anyone. In under a month we moved it, cleaned it and put it back live on hosting the business owns. Since then we’ve made it faster, added a search box that finds homes as you type and kept it looked after month by month.
For an estate agent, the website is the shop window. Lawler & Co’s had been left without proper care, and it was starting to show.
The main menu didn’t work on a computer. Homes that had been taken off the market could still show as available. Two of the enquiry forms had nobody set to receive them. And the site had security problems serious enough that Google had stopped showing one of the business’s adverts.
Before changing anything, we checked every part of the site and wrote down what we found. Then we secured what couldn’t wait, took a full backup and planned the move.
Fix what’s urgent first. Then make it better.
We moved the website to new hosting in Lawler & Co’s own name, so the business owns the account and is never tied to one supplier again.
On the way, we rebuilt the site from clean sources, removed old plugins nobody used, and tightened up logins and security. It went back live on its own address on 9 October.
Now it has automatic backups, round-the-clock monitoring that tells us within minutes if it goes down, and regular, tested updates. Cookie consent works properly too, so nothing is tracked until a visitor says yes.
People looking for a home flick between listings on their phones. On the old site, a property page could take anywhere from 3 to 15 seconds to appear on a first visit.
We made images lighter and had property pages ready before anyone asked for them. In our tests, every property page now opens in under 1.3 seconds, and the homepage is about a fifth of the size it was.
We also tidied up small things visitors notice without knowing why: pages that jumped around as they loaded, and pictures that arrived long after the words.
Speeds are from our own tests in October 2026. Real-world speed varies with the visitor’s phone and connection.

On a phone, the search comes straight after the areas they cover.

We built a new property search that suggests towns, areas and postcodes as you type, then takes you straight to the homes that match.
We built it on a private copy of the site first, so the team could try it before anyone else saw it. It went live on 26 October, and it passed every one of our checks on the live site before we left it running. It even tells Marple and Marple Bridge apart.
Type a town, an area or a postcode. Bedrooms and price narrow it down from there.
A website that loses enquiries is costing the business money without anyone noticing. We sent every test enquiry through each form and checked it arrived with the right office.
We added an enquiry form to every property, so a buyer can ask about a home from the page they’re looking at.
Then we put spam protection on all four public forms. It works quietly in the background, so real people aren’t asked to pick out traffic lights, and the team’s inboxes stay for real enquiries.
Not a one-off fix. Looked after every month.
We still manage the website and the agency’s Google Ads, so small problems get caught early and the site keeps getting better.
